My Dad will bring his '62 Nova I think. We are talking about long-hauling and booking rooms soon. This will be my first HRPT. Any tips?
Update: Had a baby last week instead! Next year! Maybe by then some of these trucks will get actual wheels that look half way decent...seriously, what's up with some of the crap wheels!? Am I getting old and picky?

I've been trying to decide on a wheel and tire combo for quite awhile now. You can spend a little on swap meet finds or major bucks from big names like Foose, Coddington and Billet Specialties. I'm having a hard time finding something cool and unique that doesn't break the bank. But as you go down the price ladder, you start to see the economy versions on every Tom, Dick and Harry's vehicle. I also have a '15 Challenger and put Cragar Modern Muscle S/S wheels on it because they were reasonably priced. First car show we went to, there were two other Challengers there, both with the exact same wheels.

So I'll go out on a limb here and say that air suspension and LS conversions have replaced wheels as the first order of business for a lot of today's builders. When the cheapest set of decent custom wheels you can find still cost over a grand, a lot of guys end up "settling" (like that TV ad).

Some more. You will see anything on the tour!
Our second day on the road and this rig pulled into the same spot to eat.

At our motel one night this station wagon pulled in. Man I loved the color they had already done 2800 miles from Canada!

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
