I think I will keep looking a factory line. Also looking for gas tank vent vapor canister.

Do you still have the thermostat housing? Just to be clear, I'm referring to the piece that bolts to the front of the cylinder head (not the water neck).

Sounds good. There were several different styles over the years, so I'd just like to make sure that it looks like the one on the right in the picture (the blue one).

No, this engine never had them. I looked for them at one time but I didn't have any luck finding them. They must be really rare.

Never knew the side cover bolts were unique, figured they used a gasket to seal the bolt to the cover. I'm sure the integral seal is not available separately either.
