Re: My "new" 1968 c20

Thanks it’s been a lot longer than I expected . Started as a spruce up and pretty much became a full resto . Redid the bed

Beautiful truck. All 3 of my trucks are 20's....they need to be able to pull and haul right? Great work.

Re: My "new" 1968 c20

Last bit of bodywork the hood . Fixed the leading edge dents and stripped the paint and rust . Going to hit it with the DA tomorrow there are a couple of small dings here and there so I’ll fill them as needed. Best tool I ever bought

Re: My "new" 1968 c20

I have a different brand of the same tool and you're right, they are excellent. It's like a flap disc on steroids. At 30-60 bucks a pop I wish the drums would last longer though. Which grit or style drum did you find the best for paint removal Mark?

This type works the best I start with it and then go to a 100 -120 grit if you go to fine you can heat the metal . I’m going to try the Harbor freight brand drums they look the same but are much cheaper
