they are from the collision industry, but the company is out of business now, they were made by a company called Chart.

Abolutely amazing work and I also canīt wait to see the truck back together and painted. I dig that you left the cab seem and will keep the trim, rain gutters and door handles! I will try to do the same with my truck, but nowhere near this level, actually galaxies away!
 But amazing does not even do this truck justice, it is the best square I have seen built yet! Hands down!

thank you....it's been a long road, but the end is in sight, I've tried to maintain the GM beauty of these trucks that makes us all love them and just enhance and clean up some things along the way. I want it so the average person just thinks it's a nice clean truck but for enthusiasts, they will look at it for hours and keep noticing little things we did. thanks again for the kind words, I really appreciate it.

Hello Chromaholic. I just found this thread yesterday and finally finished going through it today. I am in awe of the work you and your buddy have done. I would love to see this truck since i don't live that far away. Thank-you for taking the time to post all the progress and answering everyone's questions.

body work is finally all finished on the body...just the bumpers to do and then that's it...feeling excited

For blocking we use a polyester primer made by Evercoat called Slicksand.

Love the Slicksand/G2. It's a nice crutch for my mediocre Bondo skills.

All the NOS moldings have been test fit to the truck, we have a pencil line around all the moldings so that the trim will maintain a constant gap with the body lines of the truck

I think you missed a spot... :P
It looks great! I don't know anything about body work, but from the looks of the raw metal I didn't imagine that you would have to cover it completely with filler. I really can't wait to see this thing in color! It is going to be killer!
