Yeah, its the 10 5/8" cap then. I'll look when I get home. I have 2 complete sets...one for each truck and caps for the trailer project plus 1 for each spare. I think I have an extra one in there though. Will know tonight.

Worst case....I did see a single for sale on ebay last night. Saw a pretty dented up set of 4 also.

Sounds good--I appreciate you looking into it! I've been all over eBay and can't find a chrome one (saw the set $$$$), but maybe I just searched wrong.

Thanks!
I'll see if I can find the single cap in case I don't have an extra. The set looks ok, but a lot of dents and he tries to get high $$$ on all his caps.

I have to slam the door so hard to get it to close the inside door handle popped off onto the floor so I knew I had to do something! My friend has a new Mercedes and you just click the door shut and power motors draw the door in tight! pretty slick for sure but I figured the Altman route would be fine. LOL

Re: What did you do to your truck today part II.

Added my homemade tins to the gap I had between my wheel tubs and bedsides since raising the floor 3", drilled the sides for the change in mounting hole locations, then ran some 5/16th" butyl along all the edges, and installed them in the bed with sstl bolts.

Happy Birthday to me - rg

Re: What did you do to your truck today part II.

Chased the threads on my tailgate trunnion and chain mounting points, then installed an old GMC gate that I have until I get the Chevy one ready to go.

Re: What did you do to your truck today part II.

Tried a spare GMC tail gate just to see how everything lined up & looked then started reworking the Chevy gate that needs both ends replaced.

Re: What did you do to your truck today part II.

Repaired the Ranco heater valve in my 61 c20. Got the part at NAPA.
Takes time and patience, but cheaper than having it rebuilt.

I installed a remote spare tire filler hose. Now I can check and fill the spare tire from the upper hole in the rear license plate.

Installed a 1" phenolic spacer and cured the heat soak issues I've been having.

Don't have many interior shots but here is one before the instrument cluster was replated and here is an underhood shot before the front end sheetmetal was attached.

Re: What did you do to your truck today part II.

I also installed the drivers side door check today. I used a GM part ($$) to replace the aftermarket crap that I had installed 18 months ago. Both aftermarket door checks failed after very little use. Both have been replaced now with GM 3794798.
