Re: The first ever 73-91 Burb post your ride thread!
cleaned up the new tires I bought for her, the others were dry rotted. The red LED digital gauge is for trans temp (700r4 swap). I replaced that one with a needle one now. The other is a tach. LED lighting for the cluster also.

Re: The first ever 73-91 Burb post your ride thread!
Swapped out the Edelbrock 1406. It wasn't supplying enough air/fuel for the 454. '86 non cc Quadrajet off of an RV 7.4 is now in it's place with an adapter plate to the (Edelbrock c454) intake. The power steering filler neck is from a newer Trailblazer. Throttle/TV cable set up with $8 bracket. Factory carbed air cleaner from another parted truck with hose to the front grill for forced air induction. It fits under the hood with about half an inch clearance

Re: The first ever 73-91 Burb post your ride thread!
My 1983 GMC K2500 Suburban. 29,000 original miles currently, 350 bored 30 over, edelbrock aluminum heads and intake, comp cam roller rockers, headers, mild cam. TH400 tranny, GM 14 bolt rear, Dana 44 front, 4.10 gears with an NP208 transfer case. When I get done with college next year, I will be pulling the engine and most likely building a 383 stroker, but I've got some time to plan. I've had this truck since I got my learner's permit at 15 years old and it has been a blast building it with my father, lots of great memories. The old burban goes by "Clifford".
The day I became the 2nd owner: Here she is now:
