This thread is truck pornography. I'm trying to build a truck that can go 13's (I would be very happy with a 13.99) in the 1/4, its a step-side, is that possible without tubbing and any idea what the widest meat I can jam under there is?

What year is your truck and your set up/specs?

Don't mean to thread jack, it's a 65 step, Th350, 3.73s, stock rear end and stock suspension, tires on there now really suck. Engine is still being built but its a small journal 327 with forged crank, flat top pistons, gonna go with 2.02 heads and about a 600 cfm carb. I really don't want to have to tub the bed, just installed a new bed kit. I'll definitely check that forum out, didn't know it was there.
