Re: Reproduction Rubber Floor Mat
It would seem to me that they could sell more high hump than low hump floor mats.

Also, they guys switching to a porterbuilt system need a high hump for clearance , which I think would create more demand for the high hump as well.

Re: Reproduction Rubber Floor Mat
That was straight out of the box and into the truck, no padding underneath and no heat gun used. The fit around the trans tunnel is slightly loose, which is good- leaves room for insulation.

Re: Reproduction Rubber Floor Mat
I got mine this morning. I started putting it in as soon as the FEDEX truck left. I bet they didn't get much more than a mile or two away before I had it in. It fit just fine. The hardest part was the accelerator pedal balls (ha!) and I just pushed the mat over them with a socket on a nutdriver. It kind of smells like an old tire but it's gotten better over today alone. I think it looks and fits fine. I'd buy it again if I needed it.

Re: Reproduction Rubber Floor Mat
I wanna kick this thread, I see LMC has high hump mats for sale. I just bought one for a '72 ford F100 & it was fine. One other thing, if I get the hump tunnel from a '60 it should fit my '66, right? Also would like to know if it will clear my NV4500. Thanks

Re: Reproduction Rubber Floor Mat
Ok help me out here. I see Classic has a high hump mat advertised but for 60-63 only. The truck I have found to get the tunnel assy from is a 60 one ton. Will this tunnel assy from the 60 model fit into my 66? I know I have to get the forward portion of the tunnel as well from the firewall. Then will the Classic 60-63 high hump mat fit in my 66? Or am I building a Frankin Truck that no mat will fit? Thanks

Re: Reproduction Rubber Floor Mat
as far as I know the trans humps are interchangeable from '60-'66. I'm really not sure what the difference is and why they list a high hump for '60-'63 only. However in the description for the low hump floor mat they say it is an original style '64-'6 but will also work in a '60-'63.

Re: Reproduction Rubber Floor Mat
got mine today - put a layer of dynamat material from amazon down first and then foam on top. Mat fits very well and if I wanted I could add another layer of foam underneath but fits snug with just one layer
