OK. Now we are getting somewhere.
My SWB "K" is from Fremont -6th digit Z- But my Blazer has a 6th digit of 2- 7th digit is S which would mean St. Louis. 5th digit is 8.

My 68 is a Fremont built truck. Spent most of its life in California until the previous owners moved to Oregon and immediately put the truck up for sale when I bought it. Plates had just been swapped out. So its always been a West coast truck.
