Short stepside bed dimensions please?
I am looking for the dimensions from inside the bed from cab to center of wheel please?

Mine measures 40 1/2 " from outside of bed to center of rear wheel. My stepside has 3" lowering rear springs...don't know if that makes a difference.

Still have a ways to go but it's an original '67 GMC Stepside.

Re: 67-72 stepside pics, 2020 show and tell
Here's my 67 GMC. Original 6/3ott. So many mechanical things done since I bought it in 2018.
Lowered 4-6. Power disc brakes Power rack and pinion T5 five speed AC added Aftermarket seat "Healthy" rebuild on motor Fuel injection wheels headlights new bed etc. Was going to leave it in it's barn find exterior, but now I'm thinking about a repaint to it's original Fawn color this winter.

Re: 67-72 stepside pics, 2020 show and tell
If you go back to page 1 and post #17 just over a year and here is where my truck is now.
All suspension and steering done, 2.5/4 drop, power brakes with disc up front, HEI installed, tank moved to the rear and bed all together.

I didn't know Fawn was used as an exterior color. My '67 K/10 Suburban was white exterior and Fawn interior. My '68 C/10 Stepside is 516 Orange exterior and interior, with Fawn accents [steering column, door panels, seatbelts, sunvisors, dash cushion, etc.] Since so many new vehicles are some shade of silver/metallic color, Fawn would fit right in.

Thought I’d add my new to me 67 stepper!
6 cyl 3 OTT. I’m detailing the air cleaner now so it will have the correct one on it.

Cash,
That is such a nice, clean example of a 67. Very nice.

Missed this one the first time around. Here is my '72 I picked up at 14 as my first car. Spent the back half of my high school career fixing it up. Twenty years later...

Re: 67-72 stepside pics, 2020 show and tell
My grandfather's 1972 Long bed, trying to get it back on the road after sitting at a family member's house for at least last 8-10 years. Came with a 307, but it is toast and was left sitting for that time with one of the heads off. Got a line on a 350, just waiting to get ahold of it to swap it in. Got outside and inside cleaned up pretty well. Rust isn't too bad, worst spot is driver side rocker panel. Already put new tires on and have a new fuel tank/sender ready to go. 3 point belts ordered and just need to figure out what size aluminum radiator to get. Don't need crazy high horsepower cooling, but would like something pretty much drop in.
