Re: off it goes
If I remember correctly Cheyenne trim level would have trim rings without door pulls. Silverado trim level added the door pull straps.

Re: off it goes
So I have been holding off on posting pics of the motor in my truck just in case I had made it to Sema. But seeing as that never happened this year thought I'd let you see what we have been working on...

Re: off it goes
I was definitely taken aback by the white and black engine! But I really like it!
Do you plan to remove the "wilwood" name from the master cylinder? It seems kind of glaring. Possibly paint the master cylinder lid in white?

Re: off it goes
Thanks man...we talked about Chevy Orange but it wasn’t period correct for this year of truck. From factory motor would of been blue which was definitely out with my colors. Then we talked brown to match interior which would of been cool but I didn’t want a ton of polished items in the motor so the brown with all black wouldn’t of had the wow factor...which by process of elimination brings us to White. I’m a neat and tidy detail freak so will have no issues keeping it clean, the motor has been fired and there’s not a drip anywhere.😃

Re: off it goes
I saw this on Kens IG page the other day but didnt think it was your truck because I didn’t see the cowl vent screens. I just noticed the bolt holes for them now. Your truck is bloody amazing.

Re: off it goes
Good call on the white. It is certainly outside the norm and fits the truck well.

Re: off it goes
Sorta surprised the master cylinder didn't go in the dash or floor.

Re: off it goes
no, still trying to keep it somewhat stock looking but in a much cleaner simpler way. I think sometimes the firewall can be to plain and bare looking if it has nothing on it

Re: off it goes
Agreed. Same with tailgates using aftermarket flat panels....

Re: off it goes
Exactly, some can look to plain...and then some guys can get to crazy with a bead roller and make stuff look to overdone. Just trying to stay somewhat in the middle

Re: off it goes
Make it look like nothing has been done when a bunch has. You're too focused on the fact of how/why everything seems so tight & well fit that it takes someone telling you or several inspections to NOTICE the changes.

Re: off it goes
Luckily my buddy owns a Hot Rod Upholstery Shop and he is just finishing up my seat and that will conclude all the interior, I kept it clean and classy...I think less is more on interior, just did a dark brown Relicate Leather with a tooled insert to match the door panels. Also decided to do something with the interior handles, a little sand and a quick polish brought them to life

Re: off it goes
Beautiful work! And just think how easy it will be to narrow down where the oil leaks come from! Would never have even thought of a white engine - it looks gorgeous.
