Re: What did you do to your truck today. The 3rd chapter

Great color.

Today I started cleaning up the under hood wiring and put a frame to bed ground on that was missing.

Then I took each of the little ones out for a ride around town.

Oh yea, that orange looks great!

I finally got my speedometer dialed in after switching to a 700r4. Was way off to begin with, I guess the Astro van donor didn't have a stump puller rear end!

Albuquerque would have seen the same. We’ve been here two years now and are very pleased with the move.

New fuel line ran from gas pump up to carburetor with a in-line filter & the brass one. 66 Chevelle 2 barrel filter for it fit perfect.
Took the old line loose and found this. Gas was clogged up, it shut off and wouldn't stay running. I may need to do a tank cleaning in the near future.

Also got the hub caps on the front wheels.

Added the under dash lights in the Ramp truck.
I don't have the door pins installed yet. I have to make up a ground wire for them. Has anyone made their own harness to plug into the lights?

SoCoC10,
Looking fabulous brother! You gotta be excited.

I'm like a kit waiting on Christmas right now. Got ball joints, tie rod ends, lowering spindles, etc. to work the front end over on my ride. Hope to post up some progress photos in the next few weeks.

Switched out the fan clutch and shroud. I expected the “foreign made” shroud to be off some and sure enough it was. The two sides had about a 3/4” bow in them. I laid a straight edge up to it and snapped these pics. I trimmed it to fit and it’s hardly noticeable now. But REALLY?
