Re: project " Blue-Ray"
got the new electric fans installed..the're 5000 cfm, and def. did the trick for the high side pressure being high at idel...plus they fit like a glove in the engine compartment...
and id post installed pics, if my computer would,nt of locked up on me when i was trying to upload them, and lost the installed pics...i also installed some super bright blue LED lights, in place of the normal filament style 194 bulb.. and the reason is so the guages would be easier to see at night..here is a side by side shot of the bulbs, again no good installed pics do to the puter... |

Re: project " Blue-Ray"
Just got done with putting grill and trim on for now it will stand as is until I can get some $$$$ for a good paint job. I hear from other's on here that the patina look is in so i think it will roll with it for now. What do you guys think? Also had it lowered by 68 ss He is the best at what he has done so far. Rally Rims in powder coating soon and new tires too soon. Any suggestions on tires? Front bumper coming back from powder coating soon, and will post pics of it too.

Re: project " Blue-Ray"
Can't wait to see it rolling down the streets man. As far as tires I tend to like Pirelli or BF G's

Re: project " Blue-Ray"
Yea got it awhile back from don. I am trying my hand at the finish work interior and exterior looks, Motor and drive train was not my fortae and as you can see from past post he has done wonders for an old truck to look like this now. It still needs some work but only can plug away when $$$$ come rolling in as well. Thanks for asking and look for more to come.

Re: project " Blue-Ray"
Just got the bumper back from powder coat and it looks pretty good I think. I know it might be sitting alittle off shown here in pics and will try to adjust later on , but you get the idea. Let me know what you guys think ! Also thinking of putting fog lights in original square holes on bumper where turn signals were. Any suggestions there as well.

Re: project " Blue-Ray"
The powder coated 81-82 bumper looks great. I'm just not feeling the vibe on those bumper guards.

Re: project " Blue-Ray"
Is the bumper actually powder coated chrome, or is the back side just powder coated gray and the face is regular chrome?
