Re: 1966 c50 soon to be a longbed
Dino
If you could find another set of the MD front fenders and graft the flares onto the bedsides it looks like it would be a prefect match for the dually rear wheels. You could use the left front fender flares and running board on the right and the right side on the left. Hope this makes sence. Cant wait to see more pictures!

I'm gonna swear it had independent front suspension... if I hadn't been working I'd crawled around and nabbed pics.....

Re: 1966 c50 soon to be a longbed
You know about a month ago a friend sent me an email asking about balljoints for a medium duty truck with an independent front suspension. I told him I had never seen one, but I suppose it is possible. Now I've seen one.....or a picture anyways. I wonder what years and what kind of production numbers there were.

Re: 1966 c50 soon to be a longbed
my 61 gmc 4000 had independent front suspension, it was just a giant version of the little truck.
I am pretty sure all the 60-62 big trucks had indy. (seems like you could still get a straight axle for larger capacity too) In 63 they switched away from the torsion bars because of problems. and narrowed the fender flares to help consumers see that there had been a change.

Dino, I love it just like it sits ( well with the bed bolted please), that is something I had wanted to do for a long time.
