Re: 1969 SuperBurb build-up (Bagged and Blown!)
What bulkhead did you use for your a/c lines coming through the firewall? Does vintage air make one for the sure fit kits? I can't seem to find one that matches up with the template that comes with the kit.

Re: 1969 SuperBurb build-up (Bagged and Blown!)
Thanks Doug!
Thanks Brandon! Vintage Air doesn't make a bulkhead fitting for the Sure-fit kit. So I made one myself, (it's just a piece of 1/8th aluminum). I also had to change the ends of the hard lines (if you go back a few pages I have pictures of everything). I talked to VA about offering this as an option (I even offered to send them my lines for patterns), but they weren't interested...

Your burb is coming along very nicely! In my opinion probably the nicest burb out there.

That's kinda what I was thinking. I guess their thoughts are, "Why fix it if it's not broke..." and I get it. However, it wouldn't cost much to make it a cleaner looking and an easier install. OBTW, love the attention to detail on yours, keep it up

OBTW, I'm looking for a nice set of the plastic headliner bows and a nice OEM antennae. Please let me know if you have either as the lack of both is slowing down progress.....

Re: 1969 SuperBurb build-up (Bagged and Blown!)
Thanks Joe!
We had to pull the hood to put the cowl piece back on. Hopefully tonight the hood will go back on for the last time. This will wrap up the front sheet metal and then I can concentrate on finishing the interior.

Re: 1969 SuperBurb build-up (Bagged and Blown!)
Thanks!
Thanks! I have some on Instagram, but not on here. Thanks! Thanks! Just trying to make a little progress every day. We were able to get the hood back on last night. The fits not perfect, but considering the entire front kit is aftermarket, it's not bad, especially for a driver, , !

Finish interior, finish tune, put all of the outside trim on.
Thanks! Thanks! Here's a few shots with the hood on outside. The last picture is one of a truck that saw in a magazine and was kinda the inspiration for my Suburban.
