Hot dam rob.. Nice job.. I mean reeeeealy nice. Glad you got it to this point. Glad i was able to supply a rustfree start for ya. I have to admit... When three guys showed up from canada with tales of some big ideas on what you were going to do with it, i was a little skeptical
 , but you did that old truck proud. I didn't do hardly any work to that truck, & swapped a couple of projects to boardmember frost, out of reno for it. Jim deserves any credit due. I moved to kentucky about 5 years ago, & brought a few rustfree projects with me. I've been building a house, & haven't been on here much. My computer went tits up, & i was offline for a few years. No time. For all the people that swear rustfree trucks of this vintage don't exist..... Well.... We both know better. I'm not the least bit jealouse, & am not even a little bit sorry you ended up with it. The right guy got the right truck as far as i'm concerned. You made my day. Congatulations!!! I've been working on an old military blazer for driving daily out here in the cumberland mountains, but i've still got a shop full of nice nevada parts & prodjects that i'll get around to building. Sorry i ever doubted your abuilities. Looking good. John

Geesh man .. I don't know what to say.
I met John at his new place in KY, super cool guy with some good C10 stuff. My RH front fender came from him and if the fender is any indication .. since this truck came from Carson City too I can only imagine what it must have been when you started. Absolutely Incredible.

Little bit of a dead thread revival
 If this truck was bought from John when he moved to Kentucky, I actually saw it in person before he sold it. It was a RIDICULOUSLY straight and rust free California truck. It need a full resto, it was probably the most rust free truck I've ever seen.
