Is that the triple D setup on that mouse motor?
That's what we used for my buddies 66 GTO.

Re: New project @ Street Machinery 1966 C10
That truck is going to be so cool looking.
You'll dig the sound of the Mutha Thumpr. Not only do they sound cool, they work well, too. A very known engine builder out here named Joe Sherman uses Comp stuff exclusively, and when the Thumpr line came out, Comp sent him a few to try out. He installed the Bad Mutha Thumpr in one of motors on the dyno, and when he lit it off, guys from all over the complex started showing up to see what the hell was running on the dyno. In Joe's words, he said, "It sounded like John Force backing up from a burnout". I love the way those cams crackle when they idle. Are running a flat tappet or a roller? When you light off your engine and get everything set, try adjusting the idle speed and listen to the exhaust note. Most guys with the Thumprs and the Voodoo cams will set the idle so low that the engine sounds lazy, plus it's not good on the cam because it's not getting much oil which is bad for the valvetrain. Try setting the idle at around 1000, and take a listen. The engine will have a completely different exhaust note, and it'll sound pissed off like it's ready to tear the motor mounts out.

Re: New project @ Street Machinery 1966 C10
Sorry for the lack of updates. The shop is incredibly busy so I went ahead and blew the truck apart for powdercoating and painting. Everything is now back and final assembly is going to start in the next few weeks. Pics will be posted soon.
