I didnt really stick to the budget plan that I had.. Just good parts at a decent price.

(4) Dominator 2600 Bags - $300
Viair Dual 480 compressors - $325
(8) SMC 3/8 Valves - $225
AVS alum. 5 gallon tank - $70
EAI 7 chrome Switchbox - $35

Looks like I got about $955 wrapped up in that stuff..

The SD crossmember isn't part of the air management but I picked it up for $700 during the introductory sale in Oct 08

Re: Bazooka's 63 build thread.

Looks sweet Bazo!!! 3/8's is a good size for the valves.....1/2'' was too fast for the rear and I downsized to 3/8's on my 'burb. It will lift the truck but not violently.

Re: Bazooka's 63 build thread.

Bazooka I've heard bad things about running the compressures upside down like that. You might want to check with Viar, but I believe they did a write up about doing it like that.

They say that because it may cause the compressor to heat up faster since heat tends to travel upward. I don't plan on running the compressors enough for that to be a concern. I actually bought the compressors for my 54 Belair. Was going to run them on a 12 gallon tank in the trunk but I ended up selling the car... They are a little overkill for what I need but I already had them.. It wont take those 480s long at all to fill that 5 gallon tank

Yep shocks are on there.. if you look close at the last pic I posted above you can see the upper part of the shock peeking over the rotor.

Just got news the truck is ready to come home. Pics later on

Re: Bazooka's 63 build thread.

If you could please measure how far back the shock mounts are from the upper arm mount for me it would be greatly appreciated.
