Yep, about time to start beating the drums and get the chatter going. It's not that far away.

I'm sorry to hear that your super blazer won't be making the trip. But we understand life getting in the way. Glad you are coming on anyway. Looking forward to meeting you.

Re: Possible Road Trip Event for Blazer/Jimmy Owners
Trailer, truck bed & then there's always the crew cab...
So far I'm pretty sure I'm bringing down a set of 04 Tahoe seats for someone. Want the 'short' list? 350 engine, 350/205 combo, TPI set up, TBI set up, serp belt assembly, big block headers, alloy side bars, blazer wheel well carpet, core 700r, blazer tub w/chassis... |

Re: Possible Road Trip Event for Blazer/Jimmy Owners
I'm working on it, but will not commit at this point in time. Things have to fall into place

Re: Possible Road Trip Event for Blazer/Jimmy Owners
I find myself to be either a #3 or #5 on the poll...I think more of a #3 because I should be done well before. I'm trying to get a buddy to rollback me down there. I'm to chicken to drive that far on airbags, at least till I get a year of semi local driving without failure. Hope to meet some of you guys.

Re: Possible Road Trip Event for Blazer/Jimmy Owners
Just came back from Charlotte, there were two nice Blazers both 72's that were for sale, the light yellow one went for $12,500 and the black one Had 19,500 on the windshield both were soft tops! Bought some new rockers and hope to have them installed by the trip. Might be sleeping in the truck for the whole week but I am going to make it one way or the other! Thie past weekend got my blood going to get things done!!

Re: Possible Road Trip Event for Blazer/Jimmy Owners
I was seriously considering this trip...but with the engine fire and the engine needing a rebuild, I don't have the $$ or the time this year. I'm out. Maybe next year...
