And a new one for the GMC crowd. 5000 series and part #2391867 not sure exactly which years, so any help is appreciated. (updated 7/2/14 that part #2391867 is believed to be for "n" series 1960 GMC).

Ive seen these in several different colors....don't know if anyone can lend any info on that or not.

This '61 Canadian GMC is for sale about 3hrs from me. Has the original hood ornament, very tempted to pick it up but $5500 price tag is a bit steep. It is a big back window, factory spot light & that great GMC hood too! May have to contact the seller to see if he still has it. Been for sale for a couple months now.

Nice truck, but its not a 60-61 hood ornament. I'll do some research and see if I can figure out what it is though for you.

You're right! Did not really notice but it's not quite the same. Wonder if it's a Canadian style? Thanks for checking it for me, might be off a car of similar vintage?

Appears to be a 1955 Mercury Monterey and Montclair hood ornament murphy98. But it looks great on there....I'd leave it if you get the truck and are happy with it.

2391867 is for "N" series GMCs which I believe is 1960 .

I haven't had a chance to get back to the truck yet. My buddy has it. We were talking about putting that cab on a frame I am currently using with a 62 cab on it. But if it turns out the truck is a napco I'll rebuild that.

this is the first one I have seen or found. I don't think that it was ever installed, it looks like new. The problem is someone cut the studs off the back of it.

I've been wanting to know all the side fender emblems for a 1963 year model for a while. Mainly 63 but also 60-66. So from my understanding in 1963 they had c10-20-20-30-40-50-60-70-80-90 models. The 50-60 models were considered "Vikings" and the 70-80-90 "Spartan". Now I have the 10-20-50-60 badges from 1963, but I have never seen 30-40 badge 1963. Recently there is a set of 30s on eBay but there $100 which I'm not willing to pay. I have never seen those Diesel badges they are supper neat. If anyone has information or pictures of 1963 30-40-70-80-90 badges I'd like to see em and hear about them.
I'd be interested in purchasing for the right price any of the following
1963 c30
1963 c40
1963 c60 diesel
1963 c70
1963 c80
1963 c90

The pic is 1963 c30 badges that I've never seen before currently on eBay for $100
