Re: Parting a 70 custom 10
Lets go with $60 shipped and ill cover anything that was over $15.
Quote:
Ill do $150 shipped Did you need a 71-2 cap or a 69-70 cap? If I have the one you need Ill go $15 shipped $45 Shipped for the tracks. Ill have to see if I have a good one... I can add it to the tracks for $15 additional.

Re: Parting a 70 custom 10
I definitely have seat tracks and a gas cap. I was only concerned that you may need a different cap than the one I have. Ill post a picture of a cap after work. If your good with it, Ill box it up after work and can ship it tomorrow. If you need it mailed priority we can talk in PM about the additional costs.

Re: Parting a 70 custom 10
Here is a picture of the crossmember, seat tracks with bolts and the gas cap! I do not have the window regulator removed from doors. The handle on the tracks has tape on it (looks like it may have been cracked or broken at some point. I'll have to check the doors I have and remove one if your still interested.

Re: Parting a 70 custom 10
Those brackets look just like the ones I have but they will not bolt up to my seat. I must have an earlier seat or something. Dang I wish I could use them. Sorry and thank you. Let me know on the window regulator. I will need one of the for sure the splines for the handle are all stripped out. I will need a good set of inside window cranks and door handles if you have any.
Thanks Josh |

Looking for the brackets on top of the frame that the cross bars that hold up the bed attach to.

no problem, I saw that and figured it out! Short or long bed, or do you only need 2? I have a set of them. I get $10 each for them. I'll get you a picture.

Re: Parting a 70 custom 10
My truck is a hybrid. It started life as a long bed and then the frame was shortened to a short bed and has a Dodge Bed sitting on it. I plan to keep the Dodge bed (looks neat), but right now, the bed is only attached to the frame at the front and rear. So I need a full set of brackets. If you have them for both a long and a short that will be even better. I would rather shim or modify an existing bracket than make new ones. Pictures are at http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...96#post6870196

Re: Parting a 70 custom 10
I wanted to post an apology on here for not sending a few parts that were paid for over the last 2 weeks. Long story short, I separate parts paid for from one that are not.
A few in particular that I am specificly meaning is: MO RODNRUDY 68Panelman Gambler77 I am addressing the way (and space) where I keep the parts to address the issue. I apologize on this thread and it will be in the member dealings section too. Again, Sorry to you all and anyone else I may have been slow dealing with lately.

Would you sell chunk of cab? Looking for drivers side upper cab corner from about center of the door up to center of rear window. Just corner from door jamb around to almost rear window. Mine is partially crushed where bed hit cab.
