Update: Been having issues with S&P AC bracket its not perfect having the belt ripped once and 2 just came off with little stripping on the edges.

Until i find a solution i don't recommend them.

Transmisson without transfer case

Is there any way you can find out a part number for that tail housing when they converted it. I have a 6.2/6L80 out of a 2010 camaro. it has a hard flange, but i want to swap to a traditional yoke style like yours and i'm having a hard time finding just that part. even a phone number to the tranny shop you used would be nice.

I bought the drive shaft from the donor vehicle but it's two-piece with a carrier bearing and i've heard bad things about them. worst case, i'll adapt it but i've got serious power and would REALLY like a one piece shaft..

thanks,

Justin

Re: 79 C10 swap with L92 with 6L90

this thread can never die.... I just HAD to read it AGAIN. that video makes me sit up a little straighter. Forgot to say thanks for pointing me in the right direction for adapting the tailhousing on my 6L80. I called s&p and they have what I need. My builds coming along. One day soon, i'll be lighting up a local parking lot like you brother...

Re: 79 C10 swap with L92 with 6L90

Sorry to raise an old thread....
V502, if you are still on here, how did you hook up your 6L90 to the column? I am putting a 6L80 into an 86 and bought a shift link from shiftworks but it feels realy sloppy and loose and I can't get it to go into M.

Anyone have any ideas?
