I know the guy that owns it now when he bought it he had to do a lot of work to feel safe driving it around at shows. the last time I talked with him he was going to redo the bag set up on it. I havent seen him around but I think I seen the back half of the frame heading to scrap the otherday

maybe I'll go hunt him down after the first of the year

"Bodydropped to the doors". Some shops cut the rockers off to make finishing a deep bodydrop a little easier.

The hood on that particular truck might have been done to clear the motor, instead of using a huge cowl hood.

I remember seeing that truck on duallyscene a while ago, maybe the guy's name was Tony. He had a couple projects going at once, don't know if either one ever got finished.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

I kinda like that hood with a few minor changes....hmmmm, might have to consider doing one like that on a smaller scale with my crew..with a bit of manipulation it could look pretty good I think. Like an OOBS HD hood.

Ouch! Seems like there's a fair amount of risk that you'll end up with soming shifty if you don't know what you're doing with a welder or find someone who does. I seem to recall another thread here or on DS where a guy spent a ton of money on his chassis mods and ended up junking eveything.

Still a very sharp looking truck! Bummer about the hassles. Hope he got it priced "right" in consideration...

tswore,

It looks as though we may have found a seat less safe and potentially more dangerous than an aluminum Kirkey...that truck is horrendous! Cool, but still horrendous...

More pics are posted in this thread somewhere, and it was for sale on eBay months ago.
