Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?
Here is a pic of my new truck. Its a 1973 GMC 3/4 ton that has been in the family since December 1972. Dad bought it new, then sold it to my great grandpa who sold it to my grandpa who has traded it back and forth with my dad till now. Now its my turn. Its got the original 350/TH350 for now. Its in N. IL and hopefully once the weather warms up a little I can get new tires and some new brake lines on it and drive it back home.

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?
Were those bought in Ontario? They look exactly like a set of rims that were for sale near me a few months back, same price I think. Are the 33's?
Come to think of it they may have been listed on KIJIJI, but from the states. I thought about buying them for the rims, I hated my Mud grapples on my old 84, they sucked in the mud, and were like driving next to a propeller plane.

Here's mine after the drop is done. 3" spindles and cut a coil up front and a flip kit in the rear.

245/60r15 in the front and 275/60r15 in the rear. I was running 255/70 all around but the front rubbed. I think it looks much better with this new setup. I seem to have the slightest amount of rake.

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?
Hi, no, its a normal old finnish N- series plate that was given to american cars back in 80īs and 90īs. Its shorter than usual finnish plate to fit to its place, usually in finland plates have 6 marks.

I agree, very nice truck. That does not look like OE Appel Red paint. Looks more like Victory Red paint??
