congrats on the purchase, & it looks like a pretty solid ole truck...i know it's a pain trying to see those numbers on the back of the engine...one trick I read about is using a small mirror to reflect what you see in those tight areas, so that's what i did...hope that helps! good luck with the truck, & have fun
