I just installed a 1980 front end into my 70cst. This gives me 5 lug disc brakes, a variable quick steering box, plus it's easier to do PM...I have been told up to 1987 will bolt in. After 1980 GM went metric. You may have to open a couple holes but for my 1970 C10 it was a direct swap. Hopes this helps. It would be good to get other feedback. I know just enough to be dangerous.
Regards, Dewayne70cst
