I know it's not a 40's or 50's truck, but I think this 60's chopped truck looks sick!

Re: chopped trucks thread!!!

I really like it too ,but i hear and read how hard it is to chop and get the window to fit ,i have been afraid to try it yet?
Any advice? I have had seveal people approch me about chopping one of them ,so i have been thinking about buying and trying to chop one to see how difficult it really is?

Re: chopped trucks thread!!!

cal's truck has a hood. it may just be a reflection on the hood that makes it look that way

Re: chopped trucks thread!!!

Cal, That 60's chop is just sick! It literally looks like it should float down the road.

Anyway, It's been since Nov that I've been out in the shop. When I left off with the '58 Viking chop, I only had 3 of the 4 posts welded back together and still had to fill the cut I made to widen the driver's side of the roof. Since I've been able to get back into the shop for a couple of hours each of the last two days, I've been able to get the last pillar solid and most of the roof-cut filled.

Soon I'll be working on the doors, but I start a couple of weeks of night-shifts at the plant and the transition usually kills any home projects for a week or so.
