Re: 63 C 10 it begins
WMS to WMS (wheel mounting surface) is the correct way to measure the width of a differential. That's the same as drum face to drum face
So I said 63.5, you say 63.625.....that's only .125 difference between us.....close enough. The 58.5 sounds more like the housing width/length.

Re: 63 C 10 it begins
Captainfab I am sure the extra 1/8" is probably the rust build up, the 58.5 was axle tube flange to axle tube flange. The numbers did check out on it being a 72.
1bad62pro/street Not completely decided on the size although I have decided on the style. I plan on running the American racing Salt flat style thinking somewhere in the area of a 17x8 in the rear and a 16x7 in the front. Looks like I will need to increase the backspace at least a inch a side due to the wider front and rear. So much to do prior to getting to wheels have not sorted it all out yet. |

Re: 63 C 10 it begins
I think those wheels will look awesome on your truck. You don't see them on trucks often, especially this vintage.

They are reasonably priced and allow for custom offsets and studs besides I could not afford real Halibrands.
