Re: Need info on some Things for LS swapping 67 c10

Somebody, I don't remember who, and I will be hunting this info myself soon, plumbed the stream line directly to the back/top/side of the water pump. I like this idea ass it seems it would provide less extra hoses.

I don't recall seeing photos of this mod only recall reading about it in the guys build thread. Maybe someone can help identify the person I was thinking about? He swapped am LS into a 67-72 and did a bunch of work to make the swap resemble an old sbc. The throttle body sits atop a carved intake and the MAF resides in a custom air cleaner assembly that was built to resemble an old oil bath air cleaner? Anyone know who I am talking about? I am on my phone so I really don't have all the time or search functions to look it up right now.

dayj1 is the member's SN. That's a fairly typical way to route the steam line, I did this on my gf's 6.0L Camaro.

post #4 shows photos of the engine and you can make out the hose plumbed to the back of the water pump inlet now that i know what i was looking for. I read that thread months and months ago, before i had an LS engine of my own so i didnt understand what all the hype was about the 'steam vent'.
