Re: Electric windows are VERY slow.
oh i had to replace my battery on my truck, cuz i was in a accident a few days ago, well the battery i got was just a temporary one for now, got it for 20 bucks so yea, its like four inches shorter
and well i went to roll down the window and the drivers side is slower now and the passenger barely wants to go down so i think if when i get a better battery and maybe a better alternator it will speed it up a little...

Or an interior that doesn't rot off when exposed to the sun. That would be nice.

Re: Electric windows are VERY slow.
For me, I replaced the window motor ($50 at the local parts shop, half that at rockauto.com).
I also had to replace the Reglator (later) also available at rock auto. For me, it's enough trouble opening them up that its worth replacing both once you're in there. It was frustrating to have a new motor and a broken regulator! (This was in my 84 C10) |
