I have pulled a lot of trailers over the years and like to use a hitch mounted to the frame instead of pulling with a bumper.
I like the ability to use a drop if I need to, to get the trailer more level. I just bought a '75 C-30 with a real heavy duty rear bumper, but I am going to install a receiver hitch to the frame under the bumper. I just feel more comfortable that way.
