New to the Board
Hello Everyone:
I'm new to the board but I'm not new to these trucks. Back in high school I had a job at a gas station as an attendant/light mechanic. The man that owned the station was a 72 Chevy truck nut. He owned a 6cyl step side, blue/white/blue Cheyenne Super, red/white/red Cheyenne, and a K-5 Blazer. Being around those trucks and helping him maintain them became an addiction for me. Ever since graduating from college I had been the hunt for one but I was holding out for something special. After several near misses looking for the right truck I was about to give up when he contacted me about his latest project that he couldn't finish. It was the 72 2WD Blazer in my sig. I couldn't pass it up and I've had it for almost a year now. I absolutely love this truck and it is my daily driver. Here's a link to pics and info listed on Josh's site. Some of the info needs updating but my sig is correct. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/cc1972_39.html ------------------ 1972 Chevy Blazer 2WD - 400 SBC, bored, ported/polished heads, 9.5:1 dished pistons, Lunati 480/292 cam, electronic ignition, Edlebrock Performer intake, tricked out Rochester 850CFM Quadrajet, long tube headers, Flowmaster 40's, TH350-C with lock-up switch, 2800 rpm stall, shift kit, custom driveshaft, stock GM 12- bolt rear with Auburn Pro Series limited slip 3.73's, 2" drop spindles, 2" drop rear coils, track bar kit, front/rear stabilizers. 1999 30th Anniversary Trans-Am Coupe #1494 - M6, Flow-tech cut-out, Flowmaster, free mods.
