build it or look for a better starting point?
Hi guys, i'm looking for an opinion from some of you C10 experts.
Ive got a basic bare bones SWB original paint 72 c10 with a swapped in LS & M22 four speed. It has the usual rot (cab corners, rockers, passenger rad support, bottom of fenders) but the floors and bed are super solid. Iv got the opportunity to purchase a complete set of OEM Cheyenne super body moldings for a decent price. The set is far from mint so it would match the condition that my truck is already in. Is it worth it to collect all the pieces required to turn a base model truck into a top level? Or is it better to just look for a better starting point truck closer to where I want to end up with a real YE9 thats of similar condition (Daily drivable). Im located in Ontario, Canada so Trucks with original paint and dry floors are a lot harder to find up here then down in the southern states. Although I would be willing to travel Should a good deal appear. Any parts I would buy would be in similar condition to my truck so that nothing would really look out of place. Ive also included some pics so you can see what i'm working with. Thanks!
