Hell, I grew up in a junkyard. Every Sat when I was younger my gramps would drag me to the local yards that his friends owned.. spent many hours hanging around them.

Not sure about now. That was in the late 70s, early 80s.

And the cars and trucks were stacked on top of each other, like a jungle gym!
Yards are much safer and cleaner now....its too bad, had a lot of good times hunting parts and old vehicles.
