Parts install question
Well I recived my front clip for my truck today Thanks to Rich-White. And I was wondering what the best way to do this. Theres really no body work to do except for some sanding. I was thinking of sanding it down and painting it this winter off the truck. Or should I just swap out the old clip for the new one and worry about sanding and painting afterwards when I can put the whole truck in the garage. Because right now the new clip is in the garage and the truck is sitting outside.
Thanks Jason |

You will want to paint the parts on the INSIDE, before you consider assembly. You can paint the outside on stands and then bolt them on, BUT then you will probably be surprised by the color match. It is hard enough to match paint when it is on a car, but blending with the parts in a well lilt paint booth and the truck elsewhere, IMPOSSIBLE. I go for the mounting and then paint to match and blend colors.

I was thinking the same thing. Its going to be a nice 40 degree day tomorrow so I was looking at getting as much done on it. As far as painting the inside then mounting sounds like a good idea thanks.
