Anybody know what causes the wipers
To go off by themselves.....This is an 1983 full size GMC.....The switch is on the dash.....As you go down the road, the wipers will start working all by them selves...And they will not stop...Does anybody know what is bad on this .....thank you....caneswin5@echoes.net

My 82 did it, Thought it was my switch, whcih tested bad, but still did it with a new one. Turned out the motor was bad. Replaced it and problem was gone. Mine could have been a combo of both, but I have a feeling it was just the motor.
