My son calls it "Dad's ole green truck". With my wife it's normally "ugly". I don't think she can relate to the pile of parts as a vehicle somehow .

Mine is . . .
Truck. With a capital "T" always. Sorta like the old John Wayne movie "Hondo". His dog's name is "Dog". Anyway, the cars I drive and planes I fly normally have feminine names, but Truck is most definately masculine. I also call him "Stout Fella" when he does good.

Don't see anyone calling theirs "Old Knocker" (engine knock), or "Sputter."
Anyways.. my brother's girl friend calls his 96 K-1500 'Old Whitey.' (white truck btw). Every time I hear that name, it reminds me of the little guy from Adam Sandler's "8 Crazy Nights." Poor guy, has a size 9 adult for one foot and a size 6 kids for the other. (not sure on the size, but u get the idea).
