quick alternator wiring help
i put a 1 wire alt on the 84 so i can't use it as reference. i'm rewiring the alternator on the '80 now i can't remeber where the 2 wires that come out of the plastic alternator connector go. can someone remind me

okay the red wire coming out of the connector goes to the started and pics up constant full battery. the smaller darker wire i think is a switched positive and where does it hook up at? its burnt through and i think thats causing the charging problem
so if someone knows where the smaller darker wire coming out of the alt plug is supposed to go that would be sweet! thanks

okay i figured it out. got the charging system workin fine on it. only cost me 10 bucks to fix the truck which was the main reason he sold it. lol.
