Using a newer frame does have some advantages and some disadvantages. Frame will need to be shortened a little. Use the old body mounts. If you can get a high hump you wont need much body lift. Believe the frames are a little wider in the rear of the newer trucks allowing the use of the newer Blazer tanks. You get disks with the front axle. I have pictures of all the mounts/etc if you decide to go this route. It would be easier using a 67-72 chassis, but then again I do believe there are some things about the newer frames that are better.
