Where to buy a Brush Guard? Grill guard?
I've got an '84 K20 4x4... and have looked high and low for a brush guard or grill guard for it. I found a couple at JCWhitney, but that's it. I'd think with as many of these trucks on the road, accessories wouldn't be THAT tough to find. Does anyone happen to know of a place that still sells them? I'm not in a position to buy one at the moment, but I will definitely be getting one in the coming months.
Thanks in advance! Russ

I think they sell one in the LMC catalog?
It is a bolt together piece and was like $150 if I recall correctly. I think you could buy it as just a brush gaurd with out the end pieces that cover your lights for a little cheaper.

I'll take a look-see at LMC.... thanks for the info!
gmcjoe, you don't happen to have any larger pictures of your truck that'd show the grill guard, do ya? If so could you post one? I'd appreciate it!

Found it:
http://www.e-michaels.us/KnockdownChevy.htm I haven't bought from them, so I can't recommend them. I had a hard time finding one...Wildcat Flash seems to be one of the remaining manufacturers. Let me know if you do get one.

yeah looks like a good deal, the one in JCWhitney looks similar, for $100. The one in JCW doesnt have the headlight guards though. looks pretty slick though, i'd like to see some with some Hellas or PIAA's or something like that on there.

I've got some new KC Slimlites in black that I'd like to mount on one of these guards.
I had seen the ebay guard, but since it listed so many models, I figured something was up because the same guard can't fit all of those models...

Wow, thanks for all the responses! How you guys find some of this stuff is beyond me. There's a couple of truck accessory shops around here. I may give them a call to see what they know as a start. But I bet ordering online is still cheaper. Although, a buddy of mine claims he knows the guys that can bend tubing and weld up a home-made guard. Either way, I will definitely post pictures with what I end up getting!
