Mothertruckers, I know better than to open a brake booster. I will probably do as you suggested get another eyelet and attach it to the rod that's in the booster. Also, the person on ebay did sell the booster as a 71-72 Chevy truck brake booster. I will contact him to see if I get any satisfaction. Apparently no one knows how to remove the rod, or it can't be done without taking the booster apart. Like I said, taking the booster apart is not an option.
