The cable I think that would be the easiest to lengthen would be the one that makes the big "U" from side to side. So the brackets near each tire would need to be moved rearward and re mounted. The it's just a matter of finding a longer cable as above or having one made. Heck you might have enough slack already to make up the difference.

I think you will have to relocate those back retainer mounts for the two rear cables like Jim mentioned. I know both of my K20s are tight by the spring with the 4" Skyjacker lift. They will both pop the retaining clips when I put the truck on my lift and the rearend/springs drop down further. I should move those brackets also. I'd think a serious offroader would have the same issue also.

How close are yours Jim with the 4" lift? Ever put it up on a two post lift where the wheels drop down further? Just curious how yours look.

one of the previous owners has a 3" body lift in my truck on top of the 4" suspension lift so that might be whyi have so much extra slack.
jim- im sure those springs wont hit the ground before you get thme on your truck

Inline Tube makes custom ebrake cables (housings and wire rope assys). They may be able to make longer rear to-the-backing-plate housings with matching wire ropes. Mucho $$$, though.

There is a guy who makes a yoke for a xfer case that you mount a rotor to and your original ebrake cable hooks up to his caliper for about $300.
Jesse over at highangle driveline makes the kit and yoke...

Transfer case-mounted "e-brakes" are really just parking brakes. They won't provide true emergency brake stopping force to bring a 67-72 truck to a stop from 75mph.
