I entered empyre wood furnace into google & the first listing was empyre at bestburns.com. Model 450 weighs 2,500 # !!!!!!!!!!!! There is a link there to shows that they are going to be at this year. (Milwaukee in the spring). I think I'll go.........thanks.............Zoomy

Yeah Zoomy, my dealer suggested a 6inch slab to set it on to get the door up, so you don't have to bend over when you put wood in...also stated full of water the stove will weigh right around 2 ton!!! I guess there is no need to anchor it to the slab!!
If you do decide in the future to get one give me a holler and I'll give you any tips I have from my experience with mine. Later, Gord |
