Tailgate Handle Flip Kit Question

I Got This Flipkit From Chassistech.com And It Didnt Come With Instructions, But I Found Some Off Their Website. But For The Life Of Me I Cant Figure Out How This Goes Together. I Cut The Hole 7.5" Tall By 6" Wide Centered And 2.25" From The Top Of The Tailgate Like The Instructions Say, But I Cant See How This Is Supposed To Be Right. Also The Picture On The Instructions Doesnt Match My Piece. Maybe Im Just Not Getting It But I Think They Welded The Bent Piece Onto The Flat Piece The Wrong Way?

The kit in the picture does not look like yours. I hope you don't have the wrong kit or the wrong instructions...

On their site, they just show a pic of all of them, and don't identify which one fits which truck.

I had that same piece of sh!t. It is backwards. The only way it will work is if its upside down. And you would have to pull the handle towards the front off the truck. I ended up getting one from mar-k. that is perfect.

I have a mar-k reverse handle on my truck. I'm sure I have a picture of it at home. If you need it just let me know.
I also have a roll pan and tailgate skin.

Definitely go with Mar-K. Great products and fast shipping. I have a louvered tailgate skin on my truck. I also have a louvered roll pan but I haven't installed it yet. E
