Power Rear Window - HELP
I have a 76 Sub with a tailgate and power rear window. I was starting to prep for my weekend trip to the race track (this is my tow vehicle) and found the rear window won't go down. The driver's side upper corner appears to be wedged. I need to get this window open so I can use the tailgate. How can I get this thing down? I'm desperate, any suggestions will help. Thanks in advance.

When my blazer did this I took off the access panel and there is a rod that fits into the opening mechanism that will not let the mechanism work while the window is up. You can pull the rod out off the mechanism and the gate will open, BUT support the window as you open the gate!!! You could probably figure out what is wrong with the window while the access panel is off also. Hope this helps.
