Question Help With Timing On Motor.

Can Someone Give Me An Idea On How Put My Motor Back On Timing Without A Timing Gun. I Had To Change The Head Gaskets And Took Everything Out, Now That I Put It Back Again It Wont Start. So I Know Its My Timing. Please Help

have you checked your firing order? make sure that's right, if one is out of order it wont' fire.

Make sure you put the distributor in correctly by finding top dead center of #1 cylinder and making sure that the rotor is pointing at #1 on the distributor cap. After that ..buy a timing light to fine tune it. $30 -$40 for a cheap one.

Best thing you could do is invest in a book/manual if you are going to work on your vehicle. Always money well spent.
