When I did my 3-speed manual to th350 swap I couldn't get the factory metal one to fit so I used rubber hose.

When I did my engine swap this past summer I was able to get a factory piece in there.

BTW, I used the factory metal tube off of a 1971 Monte Carlo with a th350 so I'm guessing they are all the same.
