85 swb extended cab worth

There is a guy here in town who is selling an 85 swb ex cab truck. It is missing the front clip and engine, but otherwise complete. He is asking 1000 for it. Is it worth it? It will be monday before I get some pics.

You do know they (GM) never made a 73-87 ex cab truck right? Could it be a crew-cab (four doors)?

really? I have seen a couple dually extended cabs areound, but this is the first ex cab short bed i have seen. It looks like a factory job. If Gm didnt make them who did? I have a crew cab but would love to get a hold of an excab.

Aftermarket coach companies built these, perhaps it is one of them. Can you get us some pictures?
