under bed toolbox info?
my 67 has a large square hole in the passenger side bedside. it appears to be factory. antone fill me in on this? got any pictures of trucks with these toolboxes?

I don't have good pics right now, but the inner tray slides in the hole and the door closes the hole. You can usually find rust free trays, but finding a rust free door (anywhere) is pretty hard to say the least.

It may be factory, but not to your truck.
The tool boxes didn't show up as a factory option untill '70. You have any pics of it? |

Oh yeah, I didn't even read it was a 67. Maybe it has a later model bed on it?

I believe my truck was a factory flat bed ( atleast thats what the guy told the guy who sold it to me. I have 1 picture but have to scan it and dont have a scanner.

yeah, totally confused.
Did GM make flat beds? I thought they were cab/chassis trucks with after production flat beds. And what kind of box are we talking about now. Where is the hole...if it is a flat bed, the bed side is only a few inches tall.... |
