crossover pipe
I believe it's called a crossover pipe. It goes between the pipes on a dual exhaust system. I'm replacing my dual exhaust system and my current system doesn't have the crossover pipe. Should add one to the new system?

Its well worth it
The pipe helps tone the exhaust down a bit, and helps with fuel economy. I plan to install an x-pipe onto my truck's exhaust system

Yes, you should add one, for several reasons. Engine pressure equalization and better sound being the main benefits.
